This policy explains how Montano Strata Management Services Pty Ltd ("Montano Strata", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores and discloses personal information. It applies to lot owners, committee members, suppliers, prospective clients and anyone who visits our website. We comply with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect
Personal information we typically collect includes your name, contact details, address and lot information for the scheme you are associated with, financial information necessary to administer levies and disbursements, identification documents required by law, and records of communication between you and our team.

We use personal information to manage the owners corporation you are associated with, including issuing levies, holding meetings, paying contractors, lodging insurance claims, communicating with committees and lot owners, complying with our legal obligations and responding to enquiries. We do not sell personal information.

Who we share it with
We may share personal information with the owners corporation's contractors and tradespeople, the scheme insurer and broker, auditors and tribunal bodies as required, and with other members of the IB. Group where they provide a service to the owners corporation.

How we store it
We store personal information on secure systems hosted in Australia. Access is restricted to staff and contractors who require it. We retain information for as long as required to perform our services and comply with our legal obligations.
